Dealing with Grief, Separation and Loss
When you lose something or someone it is painful physically, mentally, emotionally — loss can be immobilizing. Now while some people’s pain and loss can be severe and sudden, most of us experience a form of grief through various forms of loss.
The reason why we experience grief is because there was a specific feeling that person, place, or thing gave you like comfort, or love, or joy (or all of those things). And when you are indefinitely separated from that person (or thing), it feels like you will never feel that feeling again because that person is gone.
