Laura is the president of Silva International and daughter of our founder, Jose Silva. Born during the pinnacle of Jose’s research on mind development gave Laura the opportunity of being one of his primary research subjects. This provided her extensive personal experience and insight into the creation and use of the many Silva techniques.
As a member of the Silva International management team, she is involved in continuing research that unites the best and most useful of the concepts behind the original Silva Method programs with the latest findings from studies on the human mind, intuition, alternative healthcare, NLP, and spirituality. She is aggressively developing new and exciting programs for live presentations and for sale on silvamethod.com.
Laura has authored many best selling audio courses such as Silva Life System, Silva Intuition System, Silva Mind Body Healing and Silva Manifesting. She is the author of the book, For Parents Only, and guides people through the mental exercises in the highly successful Nightingale-Conant, The Silva Method and Universal Mind Power audio programs. She also presents Holistic Healing in Alternative and Complementary Medicine courses to nurses and doctors throughout the United States.
For over 40 years, Laura has presented Silva programs worldwide to people of all ages and walks of life. She is known as the teacher of teachers and served as the Director of Instructor Training for Silva International for many years. A lively and dynamic presenter, Laura’s personal dedication and warmth are conveyed to all who attend her seminars.
Laura enjoys reading, writing, is an avid jogger and practices self-improvement from a holistic perspective. Following in the footsteps of her father, she has dedicated her life to the betterment of humanity.
Her greatest joy is spending time with her family, husband Mel, children, Adrian, Illeana, and Saralee, and grandchildren Amelie and Marcel. Laura resides in Laredo, Texas.

Marjorie Dearmont

Marjorie Dearmont has received numerous Awards of Excellence and Special Achievement from Silva International through the years. She trained to become a Silva instructor with Dr. Silva and Laura Silva and others in 1986 and the highlight of her years of training has been The Ultimate Seminar, the ten day special program with Dr. Silva in 1988. She continues to update her education through Silva Advanced Training and other disciplines.
Marjorie focuses on teaching The Silva Life System and the Silva Intuition Seminar because it is such a thrill to empower students to break through self-imposed limitations. She was always intrigued with human behavior and with the seminars she provides the tools to remove limitations and achieve.
Marjorie earned a B.S. in Education as a young student at Northwest Missouri State University. Later at the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio she completed undergraduate work in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Family Ecology. She taught in secondary schools and in adult education and volunteered and then was employed at a suicide prevention/crisis intervention center. She also volunteered her time at a domestic violence agency and works with other community organizations. She is a Master Hypnotist, Reiki Master, a graduate of: the School of Transformation and Healing, (a 3 year course), Quantum-Touch, Thought Field Therapy, Psych-K, and Pranic Healing.
Marjorie is a popular instructor who brings insight, understanding, depth and humor to her presentations. Her strength is in making complex concepts easy to understand. She teaches seminars in Akron, Ohio, in Houston, Texas and in Marble Falls in the Texas Hill Country.
Kain Samiya

Kain Samiya holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics and a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University. He is currently employed as Vice President of one of the top 10 Fortune 100 companies in the U.S. in the field of Computer Networking.
Kain was very much into the physical world activities in the early stages of his life. He was doing such things as scuba diving, flying single engine planes, climbing mountains, skiing, running, weight lifting, … In 1991, due to several challenges in his life, he found the Silva Method course, which changed his entire life’s focus into spiritual activities. For about three months Kain went into his own shell and meditated using the Silva Method. It was during this time that he found his true spirituality, and a new sense of purpose.
Kain got to meet Jose Silva, the founder of the Silva Method, during his monthly trips to Dallas in 1995, and formed a bond and friendship with him. He gained a lot of insight and knowledge from the master and was privileged to know him and to learn from him.
In 1996, Silva Intl. held a worldwide “Success Contest.” Kain became the grand prizewinner of that contest, mainly because of all the successes he had obtained from the use of the Silva Method techniques in his life. He was invited to speak at the Silva’s 30th anniversary convention in Amarillo, Texas held that year. Kain has received Silva’s “Special Achievement” awards during the 1997-2000 at Silva Intl. Conventions, and has been presenting workshops during the annual Silva Intl. Convention, in Laredo, Texas and Miami, Florida. In 2001, Kain was recognized with two new awards from the Silva International headquarters. The first was a “Special Project” award and the second “Alpha Business” award. In 2006, Kain received the “Highest Achievement Award” during Silva’s 40th anniversary convention in Laredo, TX. These are indications of Kain commitment to the betterment of humanity.
Kain became the first “Spiritual Healing” instructor, personally trained by Jose Silva, two weeks prior to his transitioning in 1999. He was also the editor of the ESP Newsletter, which was the publication of the Ecumenical Society of Psychorientology, a non-profit organization, set up by Jose Silva. Kain also founded, and organized the last three Faith Healing conventions, in Laredo Texas. Kain is a Silva Master and has been conducting classes at each of the Silva Master’s Conferences since 2002. He has been invited to speak at numerous Silva International conventions and presenting workshops.
Kain is currently authorized to train people in the Silva Life Systems (SLS), Silva Intuition Training (SIT), Silva Graduate (GLS), Spiritual Healing, and the Ultra courses. In addition to the above, Kain put together a new Silva course called the “Self-Healing”, which is being taught throughout the world. Kain has produced three CD/DVD sets for Self-Healing, Ultra and Quantum Success.
